This role is intended for a Senior Manager Engineering of Projects. Our client is a company specialized in solutions for low-carbon hydrogen production and distribution.

Your scope and daily tasks:

- Key interface between the Product Development and Operations/Quality department

- Responsible for the management of capacity and workload for the department Engineering of Projects

- Leading the department allocated project engineering groups with respect to:

Realization of basic and detailed design customization for projects, interconnection with auxiliaries and EPC, technical input and support for the sales team
Detailed design and specification for procurement
Optimization and standardization of the design done by development

- Providing project and technical leadership to the team, manage the recruitment, talent management and career paths

- Ensure industrialization of products in close collaboration with the Product Development

- Develop and introduce tools, processes, KPIs of the Engineering of Projects

- Responsible for the safety of the products

- Ensure standardization of the products

- Ensure support to internal and external manufacturing is provided as such technical support for the procurement

Your profile:

Engineering degree or a science doctorate from a leading institution
at least 5 - 10 years experience in industrializing products
Experience from a large organization in terms of exposure to processes and methods, or experience of highly growing businesses
An additional education background in project management certification is a plus
Experience in leading multicultural teams
Fluent in English, German is a must, Italian or French is a plus
Willingness to travel
